About Selmar Education

SELMAR Institute of Education (ABN 31 111 455451) was established as a private National Registered Training Organisation (RTO #121531) in 2004. SELMAR Institute of Education commenced trading on day one with its biggest multinational client, FOXTEL, having won a tender to provide training to their call centre. SELMAR Institute of Education's founder and CEO, Marcus Sellen, coined a new standard in the delivery of workplace training by developing and delivering bespoke training programs to its leading clients resulting in staff efficiency and productivity.

Local employers recognised the value in up skilling their staff through SELMAR Institute of Education's Industry Trained teachers and unique approach to Workplace Education. SELMAR Institute of Education's next phase of growth was through successful industry partnerships with McDonalds franchisees, KFC franchisees, Nandos Australia, Village Cinemas Australia and Pizza Hut franchises with the successful tendering of Government funding for the delivery of workplace education.

In December 2007 SELMAR Institute of Education expanded its operations to the next level after gaining accreditation under the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS – Provider #02821B). Developing state-of-the-art facilities that offer our students a modern day learning environment equivalent to current industry workplaces. 

Today SELMAR Institute of Education is setting a new standard in the provision of Education to both Local and International students through Australian Nationally Recognised Qualifications and NEAS accredited English courses. Our teaching staff have extensive current industry experience ensuring that our students remain sought after in the workforce after completing their learning journey with us.
