Certificate III in Children's Services - SELMAR
The Certificate III in Children's Services covers workers who use organisation policies, procedures and individual children’s profiles to plan activities and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes.
During the Certificate III in Children's Services course you will: -
• Achieve high levels of professionalism to excel in the childcare
industry
• Learn the required knowledge to interact appropriately with children
• Gain a foundation skills to be used when working with children
• Gain knowledge of the legal and ethical framework for working in children’s services to assist in
identifying and responding to risk factors

Working With Children Check for the Certificate III in Children's Services
It is a requirement when working or volunteering in Certificate III in Children’s Services to hold a current Working with Children card. If commencing in Certificate III in Children's Services, this card must be applied for immediately, as it can take several months for your application to be processed. You may not be able to commence your work placement if you do not have a current WWC card. Your application needs to be lodged at Australia Post with the required identification.
