Diploma of Training and Assessment - SELMAR

The Diploma of Training and Assessment builds on from the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Qualification. This Diploma industry benchmark is Nationally Recognised under the Australian Federal, State and Territory Governments.

Purpose - Diploma of Training and Assessment Diploma of Training and Assessment

This qualification enables participants to engage in theory and practice in advanced facilitation skills; design, develop and coordinate learning as well as assessment; and developing resources; and undertaking training needs analysis.

The TAA50104 Diploma of Training and Assessment specifies the competencies required to engage in advanced training and assessment practice which may also include competence in one or more of the following areas:

•      development of training products
•      provision of training advisory and consultancy services
•      leadership and co-ordination of training and assessment services

Entrants to the Diploma of Training and Assessment must have the core units of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be able to demonstrate equivalent competence.

Eligibility for Government Funded Training for the Diploma of Training and Assessment

The Victorian State Government supports learning and development for those wishing to advance in their career. In order to receive full government funded training the candidate must satisfy the following requirements:

•       Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
•       Must not already hold a qualification at diploma level or higher
